Key Beneficial Qualities
Kawakawa Extract
Kawakawa is a herb indigenous to the New Zealand bush with exceptional healing properties and is used as a key ingredient in traditional Maori medicine. It can relieve a variety of skin conditions and reduces inflammation and irritation. Good for dry skin relief, as it nourishes the skin. It can ease discomfort on burnt skin by its wound healing properties.
Olive Oil
Olive oil used in soap creates a rich and moisturizing lather. It’s great for people who have dry and sensitive skin.
Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint essential oil offers frosty and refreshing relief. It helps clear heat, and has a profound cooling effect whether inhaled or applied on the body. It can provide a cool, calm and collected atmosphere in times of anger, nervous tension and heated emotions.
Coriander Essential Oil
In Ayurvedic medicine, coriander is specifically used to balance pitta (fire) and as a remedy for inflammatory conditions. Coriander has a cooling effect in the body and is known for its antibacterial properties.
Rice Bran Oil
Rice bran oil is high in levels of vitamin E, vitamin B and Omega-9. This oil, with its origin in Japan, helps protect the skin against premature aging. It has a rich moisturizing consistency.
Bentonite Clay
Bentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash. It is unique in that it has the ability to absorb toxins, chemicals and impurities from the skin.
